By accessing or using ScriptureNotes ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ScriptureNotes is a web application that helps users take sermon notes, study Scripture, and engage with devotional content. The Service includes free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Account Registration

You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe.
• New paid subscriptions include a 7-day free trial.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues through the end of the billing period.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all notes, reflections, and content you create. We do not claim rights to your content. You grant us a limited license to store and display your content back to you through the Service.

6. AI Features

The Service uses AI (powered by third-party APIs) for features like Deep Dive analysis, transcription, and devotional generation. AI-generated content is provided for reflection and study — it is not a substitute for pastoral counsel or theological authority.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
• Share your account credentials with others

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that AI-generated content will be error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScriptureNotes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
